HONESTY Lunaria annua (Brassicaceae) Height to 1.5m
Branched and hairy biennial. Usually found in hedgerows and banks, typically close to habitation. FLOWERS are 25-30mm across with 4 reddish purple petals (Apr-Jun). FRUITS are circular or oval, flattened pods. LEAVES are irregularly toothed; lowers leaves are stalked, upper ones unstalked. STATUS-Frequent as a garden escape.
