CYPRESS SPURGE Euphorbia cyparissias (Euphorbiaceae) Height to 45cm. Patch-forming, bushy perennial; often turns red late in the season. Found in short grassland on calcareous soils. FLOWERS are yellow, the lobes with short, crescent-shaped horns; borne in umbel-like clusters (May-Aug). FRUITS are warty. LEAVES are narrow and linear. STATUS-Local in S England; also occurs as a garden escape.
