SHEPHERD’S-CRESS Teesdalia nudicaulis (Brassicaceae) Height to 25cm. Tufted, often hairless annual. Found on bare, sandy ground or shingle. FLOWERS are 2mm across with 4 white petals, 2 of which are much shorter than the other 2 (Apr-Jun). FRUITS are heart-shaped and notched. LEAVES are pinnately lobed and appear mainly as a basal rosette. STATUS-Only locally common in S; rare elsewhere.
