MUSK STORK’S-BILL Erodium moschatum (Geraniaceae) Height to 25cm. Stickily hairy annual; smells of musk. Found on bare, disturbed sandy ground; mainly coastal. FLOWERS are 25-30mm across with pink petals that are easily lost; borne in dense heads (May-Jul). FRUITS are long and beak-like. LEAVES are pinnate, the lobes oval and toothed, not feathery; stipules are broad. STATUS-Local, mainly in SW.
