CLOUDBERRY Rubus chamaemorus (Rosaceae) Height to 20cm. Creeping, downy perennial that lacks prickles. Associated with upland moors. FLOWERS are 15-25mm across with 5 white petals (Jun-Aug). FRUITS are rather large with many segments; red at first, ripening orange. LEAVES are rounded and palmately lobed. STATUS-Locally common in N England and Scotland; scarce in N Wales and N Ireland.
