DWARF EELGRASS Zostera noltei. Similar to Eelgrass Z. marina but with round-tipped leaves. Grass-like marine perennial that grows in sand and silt substrates, typically below the low-water mark, hence only seldom exposed to air. Flowers small, greenish and borne in branched clusters, enclosed bt sheaths (June-Sept). Fruits spongy. Leaves 5-10mm wide, 30-50cm long.
