False Fox Sedge (Carex otrubae) Tufted perennial of damp, grassy ground, growing mainly on heavy soils. Stems robust, rough, 3-sided. FLOWERS Greenish brown, in a dense head with long bracts (June-July). FRUITS Smooth, beaked, ribbed. LEAVES Stiff, upright, 5-10mm wide.
