CORNISH HEATH Erica vagans (Height to 90cm) forms low shrubs and, in suitable locations, covers extensive areas; it puts on a particularly spectacular flowering display around Kynance Cove. The flowers are small, pale pink but are borne in tall, dense spikes (Aug-Sep); the leaves are in 4s or 5s. The species also occurs, very locally, in Ireland.
